Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: July 2, 2026

You can ask for your personal data to be deleted from Docmee at any time. This page explains how, whether you are a patient who messaged a clinic through Docmee or a clinic user with a Docmee account.

If you are a patient

  1. Ask the clinic directly. The clinic you messaged controls your conversation and booking data. You can request deletion in the same chat or through any of the clinic's contact channels.
  2. Or contact us. Email soporte@docmee.ai with the subject line "Data deletion request" and include:
    • the phone number or messaging handle you used to contact the clinic, and
    • the name of the clinic you communicated with (if you know it).

We will verify the request, coordinate with the responsible clinic where required, and delete your conversation history, booking records, and contact details from the Service, except where retention is required by law (for example, appointment records a clinic must keep). We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days and will confirm once done.

If you are a clinic user

  1. Email soporte@docmee.ai from the email associated with your account, or ask your clinic administrator to submit the request.
  2. Specify whether you want your staff account deleted or the entire clinic workspace (including patient conversations, knowledge base, and configuration) removed.

Clinic workspace deletion is permanent and includes all patient conversation data held for that clinic in Docmee.

Messaging platforms

Deleting data from Docmee does not remove copies of messages held on your own device or by the messaging platform (for example, your WhatsApp chat history). To manage data held by those platforms, use their own tools and privacy policies. To stop receiving messages from a clinic at any time, reply STOP (or SALIR) in the conversation.
