Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Docmee website and platform (the "Service"), operated by Docmee ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Docmee provides software for healthcare clinics that combines an AI assistant with a team inbox to answer patient messages, book appointments, and manage patient communication over channels such as WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram, with calendar integrations such as Google Calendar.
Not medical advice. Docmee is an administrative scheduling and communication tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for professional medical judgment. Clinics remain solely responsible for all clinical decisions and patient care. In an emergency, patients should call their local emergency number.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- The Service is offered to businesses (clinics and healthcare providers) and their authorized staff. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act for your clinic.
- You are responsible for safeguarding account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
- Access may be subject to approval and to an active license for your clinic.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in line with the policies of the messaging platforms you connect. In particular, you must not:
- Send spam or unsolicited messages, or message people who have not opted in where consent is required;
- Ignore or circumvent a patient's opt-out request;
- Use the Service to provide medical diagnoses or treatment recommendations through the assistant;
- Upload content that is unlawful, deceptive, or infringes the rights of others;
- Attempt to probe, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its data;
- Resell or sublicense the Service without our written agreement.
Use of connected channels is also governed by the terms of those platforms, including the WhatsApp Business Platform terms and Meta's Business Messaging policies, and by Google's terms for calendar integrations. We may suspend accounts that put our platform relationships or other customers at risk.
4. Clinic responsibilities for patient data
- The clinic is the controller of its patient data. The clinic is responsible for having a lawful basis to communicate with patients, for obtaining any required consents, and for the accuracy of information it publishes through the assistant (services, prices, hours).
- Docmee processes patient data on the clinic's behalf as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Docmee and its licensors. You retain all rights to the content you upload (such as knowledge-base documents); you grant us the license needed to host and process that content to provide the Service. WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc.; Google Calendar is a trademark of Google LLC. Docmee is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Meta or Google.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". We may modify features, and we may suspend or discontinue parts of the Service with reasonable notice where practicable. Third-party channels (such as WhatsApp) are outside our control and their availability is not guaranteed by us.
7. Fees
Paid plans, where applicable, are described at the time of purchase or in your order form. Fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: (a) we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose; (b) Docmee is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, or data; and (c) our total liability arising out of the Service is limited to the amounts paid by the clinic for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, including violations of the acceptable-use rules above. Upon termination, the clinic may request export or deletion of its data as described in our Data Deletion Instructions.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date; material changes will be notified to account holders. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
